SCHEDULE OF COMMERCIAL RATES
SCHEDULE OF HARBOUR DUES ON VESSELS & CARGOES OF EVERY DESCRIPTION Pier and Harbour Order (Cattewater) Confirmation Act, 1950 The Harbours Act, 1964 ____________________________________________________________ The following harbour dues will be applicable from 0001 on 1st April 2008 Note: Rates and dues for yachts and other small craft using the harbour are published separately All vessels entering or leaving Sutton Harbour or the Millbay Docks at Plymouth and not anchoring in or using the Cattewater Harbour for any longer time than three days immediately before entering or leaving Sutton Harbour or Millbay Docks and not using the moorings or works of the Commissioners and not leaving the Cattewater Harbour during such three days except to go into Sutton Harbour or the Millbay Docks and also all cargoes of such vessels unless shipped or unshipped in Cattewater Harbour shall be exempt rates under this Schedule. PART I - RATES ON VESSELS USING OR ENTERING THE HARBOUR On every vessel entering the harbour for not more than seven days for the purpose of laying by, bunkering, taking on stores or executing repairs only and not loading or discharging cargo per gross registered ton 7.3p Rate 2 Every vessel to which Rate 1 is applicable shall if remaining more than one week pay in addition for each week or part thereof per gross registered ton 14.5p Rate 3 On every vessel discharging or loading cargo within the harbour per gross registered ton 14.5p Rate 4 Every vessel to which Rate 3 is applicable shall if remaining more than one month pay in addition for each week or part thereof after the first month per gross registered ton 14.5p Rate 5 Every vessel loading in the harbour after discharging to pay half rates in addition to the ordinary inward rate Rate 6 Minimum charge on any vessel £32.50 PART II - RATES ON GOODS SHIPPED OR UNSHIPPED WITHIN THE HARBOUR (Rates on goods shipped or unshipped at berths in the harbour) Rate 7 For unworked stone per metric tonne 6.2p Rate 8 For sewage residue and dredged spoil per metric tonne 6.6p Rate 9 For all other merchandise, goods articles and things permetric tonne 10.4p For passengers landing in the Cattewater from cruise ships £3.00 / head Project cargoes Rate on request TUG SERVICES The harbour tug ‘Prince Rock’ is available for hire in the ‘PRINCE ROCK’ is a Halmatic WB 18 Workboat with the following characteristics: Propellors: 2 fixed, in Kort nozzles Bollard Pull: 18 tonnes Crew: 2/3 Tug Services, under UK Standard Conditions for Towage and Other Services (Revised 1986), should be arranged either through the Harbour Office at the above address, or via A copy of the UK Standard Conditions is available on application to the Commissioners. The Tariff and other conditions are set out on the attached schedule. Above are hourly Tug rates to assist all commercial vessels within the 2. Time calculated from Tug leaving berth to re-securing. 3. Once an order for a Tug has been placed by Master/Owner or Agent, (either verbally, by telephone, radio, letter, fax or any other means) and then is subsequently cancelled a cancellation charge may be made. 4. Similarly, once an order for a tug has been placed by Master/Owner or Agent and is subsequently postponed, the Commissioners reserve the right to levy a charge. 5. A 50% surcharge will be added to the above rates for vessels with no power. 6. Small craft towage service etc., by negotiation.
